After Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague finally confirmed she was back with Tommy Fury at the end of her Amazon Prime documentary Behind It All, the pair have been flooded with offers to show the next chapter of their relationship in a joint TV series.
The influencer’s show was originally commissioned to follow the couple – who met on Love Island in 2019 – as they planned their wedding, but instead focused on the mum of one as she navigated their break-up, and then make-up, in the public eye. Tommy’s deal with the BBC for his own upcoming fly-on-the-wall show, The Good, The Bad, The Fury, meant he was not able to give his side of the story, and it’s thought he’d like to set things straight. But heat has learned that Molly-Mae, 25, is now worried sharing so much of their lives could be a mistake.

A source tells us, ‘The documentary caused a lot of angst, with lawyers getting involved over what Molly-Mae could say about Tommy. She’s concerned the strain of doing another one could impact their chances of making things work. She wants to get their relationship back to how it was at the start, but to do that, they will need quality time together. They need to get away from the cameras to put things right and try to find happiness again.
‘Tommy is open-minded about doing the new show because he found it really hard to watch the last one – he doesn’t think it portrayed him fairly. He’s been painted as the villain, whose behaviour caused the relationship to break down. And though Tommy made mistakes, the crumbling of the relationship was very complicated and down to a lot of reasons.’

Fans were shocked when the couple – who welcomed daughter Bambi in January 2023 – announced their split last August, with Tommy, 25, dogged by claims he was unfaithful, which he denied. He later admitted it was his problems with alcohol that led to their break-up. And although they are loved-up again now, their reconciliation caused trouble for Molly-Mae, who was seen arguing with sister Zoe about what life could look like if she were to reunite with the boxer.
The social media star admitted to cameras, ‘Zoe and I have gone through the trickiest part of our relationship ever,’ before telling her sister, ‘You are driving a distance between us. Sometimes you care too much,’ to which Zoe responded, ‘If you are on good terms with him, you keep your distance. If you are on bad terms, that’s when you need me, you want me.’
However, Zoe did soften her opinion, saying, ‘He’s kind, he’s a great dad, I’m happy to move forward with Tommy,’ before Molly-Mae made the final decision to give their relationship another shot. And it’s the opinion of others that’s making her wonder if it is worth giving cameras behind-closed-doors access once again.

Our source tells us, ‘Molly-Mae is torn about putting too much more detail out there. TV producers see it as a money-spinner and are set to offer the couple a really good deal. But Molly-Mae would just like a few months of peace and quiet away from the limelight to maybe go on some nice holidays and get their lives back together.’
And despite initial reservations from the Maebe owner’s family, the source adds those closest to her are ‘delighted’ the pair are back together, but are telling them to keep their private life just that. ‘Family and friends always hoped they’d reconcile. Now, they’re urging them to put themselves first and not worry about TV – they are encouraging them to focus on their relationship. They’ve got more than enough cash in the bank and there will be time in the future to do TV work.’
