Love Island runners-up Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies left us reeling earlier this month when they confirmed they’d split following social media speculation about their relationship status.
And – just when we thought we were getting over the shock – their breakup has seemingly taken another turn, as the Welsh pair are reportedly set to reunite on another dating show next year.
No, we’re not talking about Love Island: All Stars 2025 – which is just weeks away – but rather Celebs Go Dating.
Telly bosses are putting plans in place for the next series of the E4 show and it’s claimed that they’re desperate for Nicole to take part.
‘Nicole was asked to come in for talks with bosses almost immediately after the split with Ciaran - she was a real character on the ITV show so E4 bosses are eager for her to sign up,’ a source told The Sun.
If Nicole does sign up for Celebs Go Dating, she could come face-to-face with Ciaran once again as it was recently reported that he’s also been in talks with CGD producers in recent weeks.
‘It's early stages in the planning for the next Celebs Go Dating series, but Ciaran is exactly the type of male celebrity bosses are looking for,’ a TV insider told The Sun earlier this week.
They added, ‘He's got the natural charm and good looks as his fellow Welshman and Love Island winner Liam Reardon who appeared on the show after his split with Millie [Court].
‘As fans know, Liam ended up getting back together with Millie after filming the series, so if Ciaran is interested in getting back with Nicole or some advice on new potential girlfriends, it would be a wise choice to sign up for the show.’
Nicole and Ciaran first sparked rumours they’d split at the start of the month when eagle-eyed fans noticed she’d deleted an Instagram Highlight featuring pictures of their time as a couple.
A representative for the pair then confirmed they were no longer an item in a statement, revealing, ‘Over the last couple of days Nicole and Ciaran have made the mutual decision to part ways.
‘They have left the relationship on amicable terms, and will remain good friends going forward.’
