Love Island fans got a major shock at the end of last night’s episode when it was revealed that 2018 Islander Adam Collard will be returning to the show as the ultimate bombshell.
The Geordie lad is heading back into the villa to turn heads and crack on with the girls, but it turns out he’s not the only Islander from series four to make a return to the show. Adam’s former co-star Samira Mighty was also recently heard again on the show but not in the way you might expect.
Ever since rising to fame on Love Island four years ago, Samira has been pursuing a career in music (remember her stint in No Love Lost on The X Factor: Celebrity alongside Wes Nelson, Zara McDermott and Eyal Booker?) and last week she released her first single I Love Your Smile, a collaboration with super-producer collective W.D.C.
Samira then got a full circle moment when the song was played during a recent episode of the ITV2 show. She shared the exciting occasion on Instagram and wrote, “OMG guys Love Island played my very first single ‘I Love Your Smile’. Best feeling in the world! Overwhelmed isn’t the word! Thank u Love Island. Beyond grateful for everything.”
