We thought we knew everything there is to know about Love Island, after all we have been writing about it for years, but every now and again a former Islander comes along to drop a bombshell piece of information about the show that we had no clue on.
The latest behind-the-scenes secret comes from winter Love Island 2023 and All Stars 2025 OG Olivia Hawkins, who has spilled the beans on a secret room that the Islanders use every day, but viewers never get to see.

Speaking to Mecca Bingo, Liv revealed, ‘There’s a secret Zoom room upstairs that no one ever sees, where welfare is, and we go there most days.
‘It’s basically a check-in, you can ask for whatever you want: makeup, food, literally any request.’
Obsessed with the Islanders basically having a whole team of genies at their disposal just waiting to grant their wishes.
That’s not the only part of the villa we don’t get to see either, as Olivia added, ‘In All Stars, there was a treadmill outside the front, but you could only go escorted by security. You’d get 20-minute slots and they’d sit there and watch you run.
‘We were all so desperate to work out, we were like, “Please, can we have a treadmill?”’

Liv is currently taking part in Celebs Go Dating after failing to find love in the All Stars villa and she’s rumoured to be dating Too Hot to Handle series one star Kelechi ‘Kelz’ Dyke.
‘Liv was linked to fellow Celebs Go Dating co-star Louis Russell when production on the series first started. But since then she’s been on a series of dates with boxer Kelechi ‘Kelz’ Dyke, which have been filmed for the show,’ a source told The Sun.
‘Netflix fans will know him from Too Hot To Handle as well, so he is well versed in reality TV.’
They added, ‘But the chemistry between him and Liv is genuine and they are really into each other. Watch this space.’
