It’s been two weeks since Love Island came to an end when Millie Court and Lillie Reardon triumphed over Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran to be crowned winners, but we got another instalment of the show last night as Laura Whitmore hosted a reunion special.
All 37 Islanders – well, apart from one but more on that later – found themselves in the same room once again and there were a number of awkward moments including Millie and Liam coming face to face with Lillie Haynes for the first time since reuniting.
While most of the Islanders enjoyed their night out, Shannon Singh – who was brutally dumped from the villa after just 48 hours back at the start of the show – didn’t seem too pleased to be there and savagely branded the reunion show a “f-cking waste of time”.
Taking to her Instagram story after the reunion came to an end, Shannon told her followers, “Well guys, that was a f-cking waste of time, but I went. Miss 48 hours gang.”
Revealing her post-reunion plans, the Scottish model and influencer added, “Gonna cuddle in bed with a Dominos and celebrate that Love Island is over.
“I ain’t bitter, I’m glowing. What a waste of time. There was really no need for me to be there but was great to see everyone.”

No wonder she didn’t attend the after party, tbh.
Shannon later posted a Boomerang of her posing in her reunion outfit and wrote, “Giving my dress the airtime it deserves.”
Although Love Island didn’t work out for her, it was recently reported that Shannon has rekindled her romance with her DJ ex-boyfriend Ben Sterling since leaving the villa.

Another major talking point from the reunion was Jake Cornish’s no show.
At the start of the programme, Laura Whitmore revealed Jake was too sick to attend as she told viewers, “So, sadly Jake can’t be with us this evening as he isn’t feeling very well. But get well soon and sending you lots of love.”
However, fans were less than convinced by the excuse and took to Twitter to insist that wasn’t the real reason Jake hadn’t joined his fellow Islanders.
“Lool Jake we know you ain’t sick,” tweeted one, while another wrote, “Jake didn’t want to face the music!!!”
