It was really was the reality TV feud of the decade when Made in Chelsea bros Jamie Laing and Spencer Matthews were rumoured to have fallen out – everyone wanted to know what the hell happened.

The duo were pals before joining Made in Chelsea but it was their tumultuous bromance on the show that cemented them as TV icons.
However, in 2023, around the time Jamie was preparing to tie the knot with Sophie Habboo, rumours began to circulate that him and Spencer had fallen out. The plot thickened when Spencer wasn't at Jamies wedding and less than a year later they called time on their 6 Degrees podcast.
Fast forward to now and Spencer has appeared as a guest on Jamie's Good Company podcast and the two have finally revealed what went down to cause the demise of a twenty-year long friendship.
'For me what happened is, I had my English wedding and you weren't invited to it,' Jamie confessed, 'and that kicked off stuff.'

'I was pretty hurt by that and I tried to brush that under the table,' Spencer admitted, 'I'm sure it wasn't malicious from you, at least I'd like to think it wasn't.'
We have to admit that it would be rather heartbreaking for your bestie of two decades to NOT invite you to their wedding; we can appreciate Spenny would have felt a certain type of way about it. So what gives, Jamie?
'The true reason for it was this,' he began, 'Soph was very anxious and having a really tough time with anxiety around getting married. I'd put her on doing this podcast all about our wedding. She had said to me before, "I just want to get married with my feet in the sand I don't want all of this."

'I had my stag do and you didn't want to come to the stag do, which was fine, which I get,' Jamie then admitted.
The penny appears to drop for Spencer with this comment from Jamie; did his lack of appearance at the stag have a part to play when it came to not him being invited to the UK wedding?
'But for me that was like, "Well, why wouldn't you want to come to the stag do?" So when it came to the English wedding,' Jamie continued, 'I was like, "this is all hectic, this is a lot," it's going to be complicated if I try and invite him.'
But this is clearly not what Spencer had thought would happen when he chose not to attend Jamie's stag weekend.
'For the record, I would have been there [the wedding],' Spencer confessed, 'I would have flown anywhere to be there, you've always been a very important person to me.'

'Stag do's for me, and I know we have joked a lot about this in the past, I don't like the concept of stag do's,' Spencer revealed, 'I personally think stag do's make whoever you are marrying really uncomfortable, maybe not in all cases, but certainly in my case with drinking and whatever.'
Spencer has been open about his struggle with drinking and is now teetotal, therefore he admitted that being in such an environment would have been tough.
'I should have made more of effort just to say, "listen, please have a fantastic time, would love to come to the wedding,"' he admitted.

'I think now the biggest mistake I made is not communicating with you,' Jamie declared, also taking responsibility, 'and I was very selfish, I was just focused on my own emotions and things.'
As it stands Spencer and Jamie seem to be back on good terms, with fans praising them for being open about their friendship struggles.
