Somehow it's been months since Made in Chelsea was on our screens and momentarily classed up our usual viewing habits.

No, actually we take that back - some of this cast's behaviour is downright feral. Okay, statement retracted.

Sorry, Miles Nazaire.

But we have been without Made in Chelsea for literally months now, and over the last few weeks fans (and several heatworld writers) have started to get the itch and wonder if and when Channel 4 producers will ever deliver new episodes.

Genuinely, last month we were starting to wonder whether those Chelsea guys and gals finally decided to air their (probably expensive) dirty laundry behind closed doors and were gone from our lives forever.

Thankfully, that isn't the case, and Channel 4 has finally released a teaser trailer for series 28, as well as confirming the official start date. The good news is the show's returning later this month (and the likes of Ollie Locke and Sophie Hermann are returning), the bad news is some fans are seriously f*cked off over a rather glaring change to the series...

Said glaring change being that apparently episodes of the new series will air on E4 at 10.35pm and not in the usual 9pm slot; and to be honest, we do not blame fans for feeling a certain way about this. The majority of us here are millennials and we think we can all agree that 10.30pm is outrageously past our bedtime.

Posting the teaser trailer on Instagram, E4 captioned the post, 'Dating drama, family drama... #MadeInChelsea is back! New series starts Monday 21st October at 10:35pm on @e4grams.'

Naturally, the fan comments are commenting...

One MIC lover wrote, '10.35? I’ll be watching it Tuesday 😂.' Absolutely same.

Another added, 'Why 10.35??? Think about your demographic. That’s a horrible time to air the show 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m not a moany person but crikey 😕.' Valid.

To be fair, we don't know for certain whether this is a new weekly time slot for the reality series, but it's possible, as we're guessing the shift has something to do with the latest series of Married at First Sight currently slaying in the primetime slot right now. Who knows.

Either way, we'll be catching up with the SW3 crew on Tuesdays this series. Staying up until 11.30pm on a Monday? That's too chaotic, even for us.

When he's not getting paid to gossip about Big Brother, Love Island, and The Real Housewives of Cheshire, he's storming the London LGBTQ+ scene as drag queen, Beary Poppins. Both Ben and Beary are awaiting an invite to join The Real Housewives of Cheshire for series 18. The budget's not there, but the drama is 💅
