It's been nearly five years since he starred on Made in Chelsea but rumor has it Sam Thompson may well be making a return to Kings Road since splitting from Love Island girlfriend, Zara McDermott.
The reality TV star turned podcaster left MIC in 2021 and has had little interaction with the recent cast because, to be fair, what on God's green earth is Sam going to chat to Freddy Knatchbull or Paris Smith about?
Well, we may well have that question answered soon as Sam's recent social media interactions have fans wondering if he is planting the seeds for a comeback.
It looks as though the blue-eyed blond has recently followed some of the MIC girlies, including Jazz Saunders, who shared a romantic dalliance with Miles Nazaire, as well as Jules Pollard who is currently dating Tristan Phipps. Hmm.
As far as the current cast is concerned, we're not sure who Sam is still close to; there is, of course, Reza Amiri Garroussi who he runs a business with and he seems to have a constant on/off friendship with Liv Bentley. Perhaps he'll form an allegiance with Temps, too – they're about the same age.
Fans have been discussing the potential of Sam returning to the show over on Reddit, where one person wrote, 'He did admit he is still a big fan of the show and still watches it,' with another adding, 'He’s doing really well on different ITV shows and with his podcast so I can’t see him coming back to MIC. Maybe for a little cameo but not a regular, surely.'
The premise behind Sam's current podcast with BFF and former TOWIE star Pete Wicks is to 'stay relevant' and to be fair, what's more relevant in 2025 than being on a popular reality TV show?
Oh no wait, he's not going to do a Joey Essex and rock up on Love Island: All Stars, is he?
To be honest, anything and everything is possible in the world of showbiz.
