There is no denying that people were surprised when Made in Chelsea's Sam Vanderpump announced his engagement to his co-star and (now) fiancee, Alice Yaxley.

The duo had only been together for six months before Vanders dropped to one knee and popped THE question. To be fair, in a recent episode of MIC, he did admit that he doesn't plan on actually getting married anytime soon, he would just like to put a ring on Alice's finger.
As much as fans were surprised by the speedy proposal it's not like anyone went on a podcast and spoke openly about their thoughts on the 'quick' engagement...
It's not like anyone felt the need to respond to Sam and Alice's reel they made about people commenting on their romance and have an online row with them about it...
Oh wait, that's EXACTLY what Ruby Adler and Reza Amiri-Garroussi did.
The twist is that Vanders and Reza are apparent besties and have been for sometime. In fact, Vanders joined the show as Reza's pal and has always had his back. Remember when he called out Tristan Phipps for being a little too flirty with Ruby?
The internet feud has us wondering where the former BFF's stand now and if Reza is out of the running for being best man.
Do not fear, as Vanders, who sure does enjoy a bit of Instagram, took part in a Q&A with Alice and one person asked, 'Are you and Rez still friends???'

Enter Reza sidling on-screen to demand, 'who thinks six months is still quite a short amount of time to get married? Not me! Ha, ha.'
Vanders is grinning in the background as Reza continues to add some lightness to their fallout as Reza answers the fan query...
'I think we are still mates, I got invited to the engagement party,' he went on, 'and I'm still going to the wedding.'
