Three couples have left the MAFS UK 2024 experiment so far, with Eve Reid and Charlie Curtis being the first pair to call it quits – and is it just us or does that feel like a lifetime ago given how much has happened since then?
Eve and Charlie’s marriage started off quite well as they clearly had an instant attraction, however cracks began to show on their honeymoon when Eve started to pull away from Charlie and it was all downhill from there.
The pair tried to work on their relationship but just weren’t able to move past their differences and they eventually decided to quit the experiment.
Eve’s already been spotted with another partner since then and now Charlie’s debuted her new girlfriend on social media too.
Charlie took to Instagram earlier this week to share a picture of herself and her new girlfriend, Philly Ward, posing at a pumpkin patch. The post was simply captioned with an orange heart and a series of hashtags which included ‘#hardlaunch’ and ‘#girlfriend’.
The MAFS UK cast were quick to share their support in the comments section, including Polly Sellman, who wrote, ‘YEET HARD LAUNCH ❤️.’
Kristina Goodsell added, ‘Yes queen 🧡🫶🏼,’ while MAFS UK 2023 bride Laura Jayne Vaughan commented, ‘❤️❤️❤️ Love this.’
Fans also shared their thoughts, with one of Charlie’s followers saying, ‘Never been more happy for someone I don’t know.’ Another added, ‘Talk about an upgrade 😍.’
Philly is a police officer from London and regularly shares cute videos of herself and Charlie’s relationship on TikTok. In one recent post, Philly wrote, ‘My promise to the world is to show Charlie off to be the incredible person she is.’ Aww.
