Cast your minds back to last year when we’re all hooked on the last Aussie series of Married At First Sight and you’ll probably remember that we all became obsessed with cast member Lucinda Light.

Well, it turns out we weren’t the only ones as Channel 4 have only gone and given the MAFS Australia 2024 star a job on their brand new dating show The Honestly Box alongside reality TV legend and heat fave Vicky Pattinson.

Lucinda and Vicky recently dropped by heat Towers to talk all things The Honesty Box and the Aussie queen let slip about all the pals she’s made from MAFS UK.

Lucinda told us, ‘It was really lovely last year, I made quite a few connections with the UK cast too.’

And when Vicky quizzed her on who she met up with, Lucinda revealed, ‘So Sionnan [Carmichael] came to my show, Emma Barnes and I have been in contact.’

‘How nice is Emma Barnes?’, Vicky said, before adding, ‘I feel like you’d love Chanita [Stephenson]. Have you met her yet? You would love her, she’s so nice. Kristina [Goodsell], who’s friends with Emma. She’s so cute.’

Lucinda replied, ‘I haven’t made a connection with her, but yeah,’ and we’re obsessed with the idea of all these MAFS queens hanging out, tbh.

Clearly Vicky is too as she told Lucinda, ‘You should reach out to people when you’re here.’

‘Would you have a night out with them?’, Lucinda responded. ‘Get a little bit wild.’

Speaking about her new role as advisor to the contestants on The Honesty Box, Lucinda said, ‘I think it’s from being on a reality television show that I just have deep empathy for the guys and could really hold space from a genuine place, and obviously I love love.

‘I’m a celebrant, so I just love all of that. Being a holistic councillor and facilitating activities, I think it’s brought a combination skills, and having recently gone on Married At First Sight, I’ve been quite easily able to connect with the guys that were on there.’

The Honesty Box on E4 starts on Monday 28 April at 9pm.
