Sugababes – yes all of them – where are they now?

They've had more incarnations than Madonna, but what's happened to all the members of this much-loved noughties pop-trio?

Sugababes

Following the news earlier this month that the original 00's line-up would be releasing new music under the name Sugababes for the first time in eight years, we've been feeling all nostalgic for the peak girl-group years.

We last had a taste of the classic combo, Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan (MSK) six years ago when they dropped their single, Flatline. In October 2019 the trio covered Sweet Female Attitude's hit 2000 single 'Flowers' for DJ Spoony's Garage Classical album and we. Are. Here. For. It.

But what about the others Sugababes over the years? Find out...

Keisha Buchanan

Keisha was the longest running Sugababe of them all. There from the beginning, she was controversially ousted from the group in 2009.

In 2011 she formed Mutya Keisha Siobhan (MKS) with her original Sugababe pals, but their flagship single 'Flatline' failed to achieve any commercial success for the group. Since then she's gone vegan, started (but never finished) recording a solo studio album and tasted posh nosh on TV Show Great British Menu.

Mutya was the second member to leave the group in 2005 to spend more time with her daughter, Tahlia.

She had a successful solo career after leaving the 'babes, with Song 4 Mutya and Real Girl reaching the top ten singles chart. After a brief hiatus from the limelight training as a psychotherapist for young children, Mutya went into the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2009. Since then she's set up her own music agency, Colour of Musiq, and has been searching for love onCelebs Go Dating.

Siobhan was the first to leave the group, walking away from the band in 2001. She's since said that she was suffering from clinical depression at the time and threw herself into solo work to overcome her issues.

She released two solo albums, Revolution of Me (2003) and Ghost (2007). If you ask us, Ghost is a pretty underrated noughties pop gem. Siobhan married her long-term partner Chris McCoy in January 2013 and the pair had a son together, Ford Charles McCoy in August 2017. She was working in an office role for Storm Models until 2012, when she left to work with Keisha and Mutya on MKS.

Heidi joined the group after Siobhan's departure in 2001 and had a good ten year stint with the 'babes.

Since leaving in 2011, she had a stint on Dancing on Ice in 2012 and cooked up a storm (or not - she was the first to be eliminated in the show) on Celebrity Masterchef. She's also been busy in theatre land performing in stage adaptations of Happy Days and War of the Worlds. In 2016 she married her partner, Alex Partakis and the couple welcomed their daughter, Aurelia Honey, in 2018. She now seems to be happily enjoying some well-deserved family time with her bae and baby girl.

Amelle Berrabah replaced Mutya in the group when she left in 2005. She was known as the bad-girl of the group, having been arrested for alleged assaults in 2007 and 2008.

She seems to have given up her feisty rep though - she appeared in celeb gymnastics show Tumble in 2014 and Celebrity Masterchef in 2016. She married her husband, Marcio Sousa Rosa in 2014 after only 1 week ofengagement and the pair had a baby girl in June 2018. Sadly we don't have anymore deets, but she looks great in this 'Red Dress' here...geddit?

Following the group's split in 2011, she took part in celebrity diving TV show, Splash!. She later admitted she only took part for the money, which is fair enough if you ask us. Jumping off a board into cold water for free? No thanks. She also worked on a much-underrated solo album, My Man, before being declared bankrupt in 2015 after failing to pay a hefty tax bill. Ouch. More recently she's appeared in the musical Aladdin on the West End.

If you think Heidi looks the exact same as she did in her Sugababes years, then wait 'til you hear about Keisha's ID nightmare.

At the grand old age of 32, Keisha was asked for ID when she was buying wine for a party. With no ID to show, Keisha whipped out her Wikipedia page in the hope it would prove her age.

But with no luck (and no wine).

She tweeted, "I just tried to buy wine with no ID & was denied! Apparently I look 17 years old & pulling out my wiki didn't work either lol #Annoying."
