Just last week it was announced that the likes of Love Island legend Olivia Hawkins, former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona and professional quizzer, Mark 'The Beast' Labbett were just some of the celebs taking part in the romance reality TV show this year.

However, just as the promo pics are released and the experts start sharing Instagram selfies together, a contestant has pulled out.

Taking to social media, Christine McGuinness has declared she will no longer be looking for love through the notorious agency.

Christine posted a statement on her story where shared the decision to take a step back from the romance reality TV series.

'I joined Celebs Go Dating with great intentions but have realised that dating on a public platform and the attention that brings is just too soon for me. They've said the door is always open for me which I'm so grateful but for now I'm returning home to my family.'

The official Celebs Go Dating account has reshared Christine's message which must mean it's official; the model and TV personality will no longer be working with the dating agency.

Christine's announcement comes just a day after it was revealed that Made in Chelsea funnyman, Sam Prince, WILL be taking part in Celebs Go Dating.

To be honest, we can barely keep up with the drama-fueled fiasco that is Princey's love life; last time we check, he had rekindled his romance with Yasmine Zweegers. But if he's going to be sitting down with Paul C Brunson, Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn and Anna Williamson we assume that isn't the case.

We are 99.999999999% sure Christine leaving and Sam joining are not connected, by the way; that sure would be an unlikely connection.

Sam will join Liv, Kerry, Too Hot To Handle contestant Louis Russell and S Club 7 band member, Jon Lee in the search for love on the dating show.
