Despite being announced over a year ago in February 2020, the much-anticipated Friends reunion still hasn’t made it to our screens after filming was delayed during the coronavirus pandemic.
There is good news though as the one-off special was finally filmed last month and is set to be broadcast in the US next week after the first teaser trailer was released.
If, like us, you’re a Friends fan on the other side of the pond, you’re probably wondering how to watch the reunion in the UK. Well, here’s everything we know so far…
How can I watch the Friends reunion in the UK?
The Friends reunion will air in the US on HBO Max on Thursday 27 May, it will also be available in the UK on the same day.
What channel will the Friends reunion be on in the UK?
Sky has acquired the UK rights to the Friends reunion. It will air on Sky One at 8pm on Thursday 27 May. If you can't wait until then, the episode will be available to watch from 8am on Sky and NOW the same day.
When does the Friends reunion air in the UK?

What happens in the Friends reunion?
Although the Friends reunion has been given the title The One Where They Get Back Together, the one-off special isn’t actually a new episode. Instead, the cast are coming together to chat about the iconic sitcom and its impact.
A trailer for the reunion shows the actors answering trivia questions about the show as they recreate the episode where Monica and Rachel lose their apartment to Chandler and Joey, as well as taking part in a table read.
As well as host James Corden, there was a number of celebrity cameos including Lady Gaga singing Smelly Cat with Lisa Kudrow, as well as Justin Bieber and Cindy Crawford walking a runway in some of the show's most famous looks.
Elsewhere, Matt Le Blanc (aka Joey Tribbiani) was reunited with his hand twin and David Schwimmer dropped the bombshell that Ross and Rachel were almost a couple in real life as he and Jennifer Aniston had the hots for each other.
