I’m A Celeb is always one of the most talked about shows of the year and, with a cracking line-up that includes Mo Farah, Beverley Callard, AJ Pritchard and Giovanna Fletcher, the 20th series surely won’t be an exception.

It’s been reported that the celebs are getting paid some jaw-dropping fees to leave behind their luxury lifestyles and slum it in camp for a few weeks but being one of the biggest shows on the telly box could also increase their overall earning potential.

With a whopping 1.3 million Instagram followers, it's no surprise that best-selling author and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher stands to make the most money whilst appearing on I'm A Celeb and could take home £6,000 per post.

At the other end of the scale, Hollie Arnold, Victoria Derbyshire and Shane Richie might not make as much money at the moment, but with the show sure to boost their followers, they'll be raking in big bucks in no time.

Why I'm A Celeb's already 'infuriating' locals

EastEnders legend Shane, who played Alfie Moon in the BBC soap, recently admitted he was taking part in I’m A Celeb to pay off his debts after the coronavirus pandemic left him out of work for months.

Speaking out after his place among the camp members had been confirmed, the 56-year-old said, "We were going to fit it around my other work projects as I was going on tour, doing a TV series and panto but that all got cancelled in March.

"And now I am literally skint. You save money for a rainy day but you don’t expect the rainy day to last six months.

“Thankfully I’ve been able to borrow money from mates, my family and the bank and my wife is now very happy we can finally pay off the credit card!"
