I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is returning to our screens later this year but not as we know it after bosses confirmed that show was being filmed in a brand new location for the first time in 17 years.
It was announced last week that this year’s series, which Ant and Dec will return to host, will not take place in Australia, instead the celebs will set up in a “remote, rural castle” in the UK.
Now, some surprising information has come to light about about the new location, which is thought to be Gwrych Castle in North Wales.
It’s been reported that the historical landmark is right next to a popular dogging hotspot in the area.
BLIMEY.

2015: Spencer Matthews and Vicky Pattison

PSA: a new series of Love Island lands this month and OMG 😱🙌🏼
A website called “hookup spots in Abergele, Conwy” says, “Path leading to Gwrych Castle.
“Oh happy nights. Close to town yet far away enough for some activity with a fair maiden.”
Speaking about the show’s new location, Richard Cowles, Director of Entertainment at ITV Studios said, “We pulled out all the stops to try and make the series happen in Australia. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and despite us looking at many different contingencies, it became apparent that it just wasn’t possible for us to travel and make the show there.
“However, we are all really excited about a UK version of I’m A Celebrity. While it will certainly be different producing the show from the UK, the same tone and feel will remain. Our celebrities will probably have to swap shorts for thermals but they can still look forward to a basic diet of rice and beans and plenty of thrills and surprises along the way.”

We’re seriously excited to see who will be appearing on the show this year, especially as the rumour mill has been churning out some major names.
Not only have Jessie J and Tiger King star Carole Baskin both been rumoured but Corrie legend Beverley Callard and TV host Vernon Kay are thought to be set to take part too.
Breaking his silence on the rumours, Vernon told Radio Times, “The reason why that story came out, I think, is because I've been asked for the last two or three years to do I'm a Celebrity.
“I've always turned it down. I think my name must have still been in a notebook and it's been floated around. We'll see. Never say never. Like I say, I've been asked two or three times in the past and it's not been the right time so I don't know.”
