It wasn't all abhorrent cliches this Valentine's Day; one former Islander – who was famously involved in a love triangle with Love Island 2022's Paige Thorne and Adam Collard – took the opportunity to showcase his new significant other to the whole world yesterday in the most hilarious and adorable way. We're of course talking about Jacques O'Neill.
We have a bit of a soft spot for lovely Jacques and have always admired two things about him; one, his willingness to speak out and recognise his feelings, and two, his ability to always find the funny.

Jacques took to his Instagram story to share a snap of himself cuddling up to the new lady in his life, adding the caption, "'Happy Valentines my girl plenty more together ❤️."

Okay, so yeah, the new lady in Jacqeus' life has been drawn on using an emoji and three lines, but it gave us a giggle and was a welcome change to the tidal wave of cringey Valentine's posts flooding the social media platform yesterday.
Be honest - you thought we were going to show you a snap of Jacques and Paige together, didn't you? Sorry, lovelies, we're thinking that ship has sailed now. Although the pair are still in touch as friends, Paige has made it clear that she wants us all to let this one go now. So, quit manifesting.

With that being said, late last year, Jacques allegedly dated Norwegian influencer, Isabel Raad (utter bombshell vibes, btw), who was allegedly staying with him in Manchester (before he moved to Leeds). Fans spotted the pair at an event together and according to an insider, the new couple had "real potential".
The source told The Sun, "Isabel is really famous in Norway and has a huge following.
"She’s really hit it off with Jacques and is enjoying spending time with him in the UK."
They added, "Isabel is here a lot and friends think things could be serious."
As with many of these source-driven stories, that rumour soon dissipated into the journalistic abyss.
