This year's golden girl, 25-year-old make-up artist Lana Jenkins, is winning over the hearts of Love Island viewers – as well as more than one man in the villa!
We sat down with Lana's mum Rachel to hear what she thinks of her daughter's antics in South Africa so far...
How do you think Lana's coming across?
Great – she's exactly like she is at home. She's really loving and likes a laugh.
Is there lots of support from family and friends?
On my gosh, yeah! There's so much support – it's been incredible. I think everybody who knows Lana is watching and cheering her on.
Before Lana entered, did you have a certain boy in mind for her?
I did think Ron was her type. But also, Will makes her laugh. She loves animals too, so I thought there might be a little bit of a spark with Will.
Do you think Ron's a good match for her?
He seems really nice and Lana looks happy, but it's early days. It's only been two weeks.
If not Ron, who else would you like to see her coupled up with?
Personally, I think Will. He just makes her laugh! Lana's got an infectious laugh, and I've heard that a few times when she's been chatting to him.
Do you think they're a good match?
I think there's qualities in Will that Lana would really like.
Are you covering your eyes when it comes to the more saucy challenges?
Lana and I had some big jokes before she flew off about brushing up on her sexy dance moves – she's not the best at it! As for kissing, she's 25 and looking for love... that's just what happens when you're exploring people you might want to spend the rest of your life with.
Is there anyone you think Lana might clash with?
Lana sees the good in everyone. She's a passive girl, so I don't think she's really a clasher.
Are you glad that Islanders' social media has to stay inactive while they're on the show now?
I think it's a good idea. Family and friends already have enough to deal with adjusting to them being in the public eye, so it's a relief that we don't have any negative social media popping up. It's protection for us.
She's spoken about dating Owen Warner – did he meet the whole family?
Yeah, we've met Owen. He's a lovely lad.
Did you watch him on I'm A Celeb?
Yeah, I did! He's exactly the same in real life as he is in the jungle.
