Warning: Married At First Sight Australia season eight spoilers ahead
We were absolutely devastated when the latest series of Married At First Sight UK came to an end earlier this month, so thank goodness for the eighth season of MAFS Australia, which is currently filling the humungous void in our lives.
As we know from season six, which starred the likes of Jessika Power, Heidi Latcham, Mike Gunner and Cyrell Paule, the Australian version of Married At First Sight gets hella dramatic and season eight is no exception.
One of the most intense moments of the series was when Liam Cooper and Georgia Fairweather called time on their relationship at the final commitment ceremony after rowing at the previous dinner party.
At the time, Georgia told Liam, “Without warning, you turned on me, you humiliated me, and you degraded me in front of everyone. It was obvious how devastated I was, and yet you chose to abandon me that night when I needed you the most. I've never felt so small, inadequate, and confused.”
Although Georgia was willing to make amends and give their relationship a go, Liam abruptly ended things as he fumed, “As much as I want to make this work, that just shows you don't know me, and I'm not gonna have a partner who doesn't know me. So, let's just call it quits. I'm done,” before storming out of the room.
The row ended with a tearful Georgia pulling off her wedding ring and throwing it on the floor.

Fast forward to the present day and things have moved on for the pair, with Liam now happily loved up with ANOTHER Married At First Sight star. The 30 year old, who was the first bisexual groom to take part in the show, is now dating Samuel Levi who appeared on MAFS New Zealand in 2019.
They went public earlier this year when Liam shared an adorable snap of him cuddling up with Samuel on Instagram. Alongside the picture, he wrote, “When a country boy finds a city boy.
“Life works in mysterious ways and this guy came into my life when I least expected it. I know I don't have to explain my life or what I do but I am very open and honest and wanted to let you all know. Samuel has shown me what support looks like, what trust looks like and much more. I am scared, I am nervous but most of all I am happy ❤️.”
Fans shared their support in the comment section, with one writing, “So happy for you both! ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
Another added, “Could not be happier two beautiful souls together wish you both so much happiness 🙌❤️❤️.”

However, many also took to social media to share their surprise at Liam’s new pairing including one who tweeted, “Well well… I never….”
Another wrote, “Huh... the crossover episode none of us were expecting.”
Although Georgia appears to be single at the moment, she’s been spending lots of time with her horses as she continues to compete in events.
She recently had her say about her ex’s new relationship and insisted there’s no bad blood between her and Luke even though they don’t speak as she told Who magazine, “MAFS was a crazy thing that we went through together but we had a bit of an intense break-up so we've gone our separate ways.
“I wish him nothing but happiness. He seems happy so that's great.”
