Okay, so we’re not getting a brand new summer series this year, but fear not Love Island fans, as ITV2 have got something very special up their sleeves to keep us entertained all summer long.
They’re airing the first series of Love Island Australia, which means 10 new sexy singletons to feast our eyes on, as well as all the dating, dumping and drama that ensues as they attempt to couple up and bag some cold hard cash (and find true love, ofc).
So, ahead of tonight’s first episode (Monday 15 June), let’s find out more about the Islanders entering the villa.

Grant is a 22-year-old electrician from Canberra.His motivation for going on Love Island is "to find his future wife" as he wants to have kids and buy a house "sooner rather than later". His type is "confident, tanned, loves the outdoors, sports, going to the gym and just enjoying life in general". Will he find what he's looking for in the villa?

Josh is a 25-year-old sports admin from Sydney. He admits to having a "wandering eye" but says he's never been in love and wants to experience it. Girls need to be "very fit and good looking" in order to catch Josh's eye. Hmm, we're sensing a theme here.

Justin, 27, is an international model from Melbourne.He's lived in five countries and says his career makes it hard to hold down a relationship but wants to married in the next five years. His ideal woman is "fit, motivated, loyal, funny, beautiful and wants to be with him all the time". Not asking for a lot are you, Justin?

Millie is a 24-year-old animal handler from Sydney.The self-confessed party girl is "a bit spicy" and admits she never backs down from confrontation. She's looking to settle down and find her "partner in crime".

Natasha, 24, is a beautician from Perth.She's dated millionaires in the past so is used to living a luxury lifestyle and is looking for "tall, tanned men with big muscles". Aren't we all, hun?Oh, and her ideal man would have a boat. Casual.

Tayla is a 21-year-old beauty queen from Perth.She was a finalist in Miss Universe 2015 but wants a man to get to know the real her "with no conceived ideas formed through an Instagram filter". Her usual type has blonde hair and blue eyes and must be taller than her.

The show originally aired in Australia last year and pretty much follows the same format as the UK version we know and love, as the singletons compete to win the $50,000 AUS (that’s £27,000 to us) prize fund.
Just like the UK summer series, Love Island Australia is filmed in a swanky villa in Mallorca too. It’s hosted by Sophie Monk, with narration courtesy of Irish comedian Eoghan McDermott.

“The series sees a bunch of sizzling Aussie singles embark on the ultimate summer of love, leaving the Australian winter behind them, as they take up residence in a luxury villa in Mallorca,” ITV announced.
“Playing the definitive game of love, the Aussie Islanders will get to know each other in the hope of finding romance. But as new bombshells arrive on the Island, which couples will stand the test of time and make it all the way to the final, and have a chance of bagging the $50,000 cash prize.”
Sounds like it’s going to have all the drama of the UK series, then.
Love Island Australia starts on Monday 15 June at 9pm on ITV2.
