It all kicked off on Love Island last week when the contestants played A Couple of Sorts as they tried to work out how the public rated the couples in different categories.
Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins were voted as one of the most “game-playing” couples, although they were NOT happy about it, and things only went from bad to worse when Tom Clare and Samie Elishi accused Ron of having a “game plan”.
But Lana’s villa bestie Olivia Hawkins rushed to defend the pair when she appeared on the latest episode of heat Dates earlier this week alongside her man Maxwell Samuda.
“I think they’re very genuine. I don’t think they’re playing a game,” Liv told host Harriet Rose.
“I think Ron was just talking about previous seasons and I think they took it in the wrong way. I think people are very aware that the final’s coming up and they’re trying to, you know…”
No, we don’t know Liv. Tell us more. Because, to us, it sounds like you’re trying to insinuate that it’s actually Tom and Samie who are playing a game…
Olivia continued, “I really felt for Lana though. I wish I’d been in there.
“She was [missing her bestie], I could see it. I felt like no one had her back.”
As for where she stands with Ron after their Movie Night row, Olivia admitted they’d made up and moved past it before she left the villa.
She explained, “Yeah, we did make up. I think that was just miscommunication.
“[Movie Night] is very intense and you’re only seeing such a short clip. Without someone explaining it to you, you’re going to get your back up aren’t you?”
Glad to hear it, Liv. We can’t wait to for the Rana and Malivia double dates when the show is over.
