Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish have reportedly QUIT the Love Island villa, just three days before the final.
Having been coupled up since day one, the pair called time on their romance in last night’s episode when an emotional Liberty admitted she “needed to be true to herself” and told Jake that she didn’t think he loved her.
In the teaser for the next episode, Liberty and Jake are seen going on a final date before returning to the villa to make a major announcement to their fellow Islanders which, according to reports, will be that they’re leaving the villa.
A TV insider revealed, “It was a really tough decision for the couple to make, but it felt like the right thing to do. They'd given it their all on camera and wanted to let their friends in other couples have a chance at winning.
“Saying goodbye was emotional for all the Islanders, as they've become so close, like family, but it won't be long before they're all reunited.”

“It's not 100 per cent over for Jake and Liberty, there are still a lot of feelings involved, so who knows what will happen on the future,” the source added to MailOnline.
Last night, Liberty told Faye Winter, “If I'm not making him happy I don't wanna be in this relationship. All I can do is be me. I can't be fake, I can't pretend I am happy when I am not.
"I'm not taking anything away from Jake. He is a great guy, I just don’t think we are right for each other."
She then cemented the end of their relationship by handing Jake back the matching bracelet he gave her when they became an official couple.

Jake has been accused of being a “game player” by some viewers who are convinced his feelings for Liberty aren’t genuine, but his dad Mark spoke out to defend his son and insist that he’s not faking it.
He told Bristol Live, “What you see on telly is Jake. There is no motive. He is genuine but he speaks before he thinks, so when you see him on the telly saying things, it’s because it’s coming from his heart and he’s just a nice lad.”
Mark continued, “It’s quite an emotional thing to see your son struggling. The worst thing about it for us is seeing the vile comments, mainly from keyboard warriors who don’t understand Jake.
"They just see him on the telly and think that he’s in it for the money or he’s a bit of a, you know, bit of a snake and you know, I’m not being horrible to Jake but he’s not intelligent enough to have a game plan!”
