It’s been a few days since Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish walked out of the Love Island villa after deciding to end their relationship and we’d just about got over their emotional exit when they were reunited on spin-off show Aftersun last night.
The pair chatted to host Laura Whitmore about being coupled up from day one, their time in the villa and those “game playing” accusations levelled at Jake, but one of the biggest talking points for viewers was Liberty’s sensational revenge outfit.
After admitting, “I just want to be with someone who loves me for me, the big heels, eyelashes, everything,” when she split from Jake, Liberty strutted on to the Aftersun set in a red dress with matching heels and lipstick.

Viewers were loving Liberty’s post-breakup look and took to social media to shower her with compliments.
One wrote, “Liberty wearing her big lashes and red lipstick! Yes Liberty!”
Another added, “Liberty on #aftersun with her red lipstick I know that’s righhht,” while a third remarked, “Liberty looks so beautiful on Aftersun I hope she’s getting them Molly-Mae level deals this year.”
Others noticed things seem frosty between the former couple, with one tweeting, “I love how Liberty is not looking at him at all, as if he doesn’t exist.”

Although they’re no longer an item, Liberty did step in to defend Jake against claims he faked his feelings for her.
When Laura asked Jake about the public reaction to his behaviour, he said, “I've just got to laugh... if I was playing a game I'd still be in there.
“That's what hurt me most - the fake, the not genuine [comments]."
Liberty added, “I think for me as soon as I met Jake we just instantly clicked. I think we was in our honeymoon phase, I wouldn't change anything think everything's worked out as it should. You have to overcome challenges and unfortunately we just wasn't able to."

Liberty isn’t the only person to defend Jake as his dad Mark previously insisted there’s no way he was playing a game in the villa.
Speaking to Bristol Live, Papa Cornish said, “What you see on telly is Jake. There is no motive. He is genuine but he speaks before he thinks, so when you see him on the telly saying things, it’s because it’s coming from his heart and he’s just a nice lad.”
Mark continued, “It’s quite an emotional thing to see your son struggling. The worst thing about it for us is seeing the vile comments, mainly from keyboard warriors who don’t understand Jake.
"They just see him on the telly and think that he’s in it for the money or he’s a bit of a, you know, bit of a snake and you know, I’m not being horrible to Jake but he’s not intelligent enough to have a game plan!”
