The first dumping of Love Island 2021 took place last night in dramatic fashion as Shannon Singh was forced to leave the villa after just 48 hours when new girl Chloe Burrows stole her man Aaron Francis.
Despite having to quarantine for two weeks before the show began, Shannon only lasted a matter of days in the villa – but speculation is rife that isn’t the last we’ve seen of her.
Viewers think that the Scottish lass could make a return later in the series, something which it seems she’s up for.
When asked if she’d be up for a comeback, Shannon teased, “Yeah, why not? I want to get back on my streaming and I then go on holiday with the girls. And then I’ll suss out what to do.”
Speaking about her time in the villa, she added, “It was very short-lived. Surreal. But I’m obviously very grateful I got the opportunity. I’m not coming away fuming from it, I’m coming away grateful.”
With Shannon keen to return to the villa, former Islander Amy Hart has weighed in on the situation with a theory about how the former glamour model could make her comeback.
Amy tweeted, “Shannon will get her phone back tomorrow… so if she’s not on her Insta in the next few days she’s obvs in another villa.”

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that Shannon’s social media accounts – which are being run by her friends and family at the moment – have not yet posted the farewell message that is customary when contestants get booted from the villa. Instead, they shared a cryptic post which read, “Good things come to those who wait, don’t you agree? ✨ Let’s hope our girl finds that spark with someone just as amazing as her.”
Let’s make it happen, ITV. It wouldn’t be be the first time dumped Islanders have returned to the villa after all, as Sam Gowland and Mike Thalassitis rejoined in series three.

After late arrival Chloe stole her man Aaron, Shannon has admitted she was disappointed with their failed romance.
She explained, “The minute he walked through that door, his eyes did not get off me. I could feel it. We had a few chats and it was a bit like trying to get blood out of a stone with him. He’s a really, really nice guy but he’s just a bit too laid back for me. He agreed with me later, which was a good thing.
“I am a bit gutted. But, out of all the girls, I think it is fair it’s me because I didn’t have any emotional attachments to the guys but all the girls had little things going on.”
