Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips was on the receiving end of a shock dumping last night after Luke Mabbott decided to couple up with Demi Jones instead of the sassy 25-year-old and it’s safe to say the villa definitely won’t be the same without her.
Following her dumping, Shaughna’s been having her say on what went down in the villa and it appears there’s no hard feelings towards Luke M and Demi as she called them “two of the loveliest people I’ve ever met”.
But turning her attention towards ex Callum Jones, who left her single when he recoupled with Molly Smith during Casa Amor, Shaughna shared her regret at not calling things off with him sooner.
She said, “If I had my time again I’d definitely have ditched Callum sooner than Casa Amor, which would then have left me with some ‘openness’ and then I’d have probably noticed I liked Luke M a lot sooner than I did.”

Shaughna also revealed Callum probably wouldn’t have received the all important seal of approval from her mum.
“My family would have liked him to begin with and then he would have definitely worn my mum thin. He definitely would have rubbed her up the wrong way. Just by not being very affectionate towards me, not ever really putting me first. Every mum wants that for their daughter,” she added.

Callum’s behaviour in Casa Amor certainly caused a stir with fans but dumped Islanders Sophie Piper and Leanne Amaning came to the scaffolder’s defence in the latest episode of heat’s Under the Duvet with VOXI.
Sophie said, “It’s a bit of a sticky one because I’m friends with both of them. Obviously, Shaughna was one of my closest friends in there, so was Callum.
“He could have waited to kiss her like Nas but he obviously had a better connection with Molly. It’s just a bad situation.”
Leanne added, “I don’t think he did anything wrong. The kissing thing was a bit of a liberty but apart from that, he just went with his heart.”
