Many would agree thatMarried At First Sight UK couple Adam Aveling and Tayah Victoria have breezed through the experiment, which sees contestants marry complete strangers in a bid to find their happy ever after.

The current series of the show has definitely had its fair share of drama, almost enough to rival the INSANE Married At First Sight Australia that got us through lockdown.

We’ve witnessed Nikita Jasmine sensationally BOOTED from the show following a row with husband Ant Pooleand Megan Wolfe and Robert’s marriage crumble when she kissed fellow contestant Jordon Mundell behind her husband’s back.

Let’s not even get started on Morag Crichton and Luke Dawson’s rollercoaster relationship

However, Tayah and Adam seemed to be clear favourites to last on the outside world and have even spoken about children and getting a puppy together – but a teaser for the finale suggests that Adam is having doubts.

At the end of the latest episode, the couples get ready for the final vow renewal ceremonies where they are faced to make a decision to stick with their marriages or walk away for good.

In shock scenes, Adam is seen reconsidering his future with Tayah and suggesting that something is "missing” from their relationship before Tayah is then seen breaking down in tears.

He tells her, "Recently I started to feel something was missing.

"It's been eating away at me and I didn't know the right time to bring it up. That moment is today."

Lauren Huntriss and Matthew Bennett

One of the biggest storylines this season was about Matthew and his virginity, as he was repeatedly labelled as 'virgin'/'ex-virgin' Matt by the narrator. Anyway, Matthew was matched with Lauren - who, yes, he lost his virginity to - but it all went horribly wrong when Lauren heard Matthew telling the other guys at dinner that he wasn't sexually attracted to Lauren. AWKWARD. Lauren is still a make-up artist, we don't know if she's dating anyone. But on the other hand, self-confessed fitness enthusiast Matthew is loved up with a new girlfriend - who he met at a wrestling tryout.

Elsewhere, Morag hints that she is going to walk away from Luke as she tells him she wanted a ready made man, not a "project". Luke is then seen telling her that he “doesn’t want to be hurt again”.

Josh Christie is also brutally honest with Amy Christophers, saying that her "selfish outbursts" have left him on the fence of whether he wants a future.

But despite some couples having doubts, MAFS UK's first ever gay couple Dan McKee and Matt James have officially committed to a life together.

Hang on - did this TOWIE star make a cameo on Married At First Sight UK?

In Wednesday night’s episode, they both decided to stay together at their vow renewal despite a 12-year age gap and doubting whether they could make their long distance relationship work.

Matt explained, "There are still some big factors to consider, there is distance between us and there has been lots of debate about where we could build a future together.

"To move away from where I feel most secure and where I am surrounded by family and friends is a massive decision to make, as I look into your eyes, I see love and I love you Dan.

"And that's why there is no real decision for me...

"You're my best friend and my partner in crime, and most importantly the partner I want in my life. Let's continue this incredible and amazing journey together and I will always have your back, and you will always have my heart."
