Now it’s launching on Ireland’s national broadcaster RTÉ, we couldn’t think of anyone better to front the show.

Though she’s undoubtedly excited to return to her motherland for the job, it could mean that Maura is separated from her rumoured new beau, Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice.

After they both posted photos from the same hotel in Cornwall, some fans put two and two together, with the pair also recently following each other on Instagram.

It comes after Maura split from her Love Island boyfriend Chris Taylor, who she began dating after months of being just friends.

Chloe Ferry speaks out in the wake of Love Island romance rumours

"There is no wrong doing on either side", she wrote on Instagram. "We still love, care and respect each other deeply from the minute we met each other we've been very close friends and that will never change.

"There is no regret, life is about taking chances. We wanted to make this work, but we have realised we work better being friends.

"While I appreciate people may speculate or create false stories, this is the truth. I wish Chris nothing but the best and I will always be one of his biggest supporters. Thank you for all of the love and support."
