After last night’s (February 15) episode where, despite being coupled with Shaq Muhammad, Tanya kissed newcomer Martin Akinola, Haris took to his Instagram Stories to do a Q&A with followers.
One fan asked, “Do you think Shaq’s in love with Tanya?”
The dumped contestant’s response was fiery, “No, who in the right frame of mind tells someone you love them after 2 weeks 🤣🤣. I like her but it’s crazy.”
We've got to admit, we’re just as bamboozled as Haris.
In case you missed it, the islanders participated in the infamous game, Raunchy Races and one challenge saw Tanya share a steamy kiss with Casa Amor boy Martin.
After receiving a text telling them that the shortest girl had to lock lips with the guy she fancied the most, she made a beeline for him.
After the challenge, the 23-year-old said, “Oh wow, it was good actually.”
This could be the end of her and Shaq, who was in the main villa during the challenges.
After the round, viewers saw Shaq looking worried, saying, “I was thinking who's shorter out of Tanya and Jessie, I'm hoping it was Jessie…”
The two have been together since the beginning of the series, after being coupled up on day one.
They were also the first pair on this year's series to use the L word, telling each other “I love you” just two weeks after knowing each other.
On Tanya's birthday, Shaq made his feelings clear and told her that he loved her, a phrase that she repeated back to the 24-year-old
Haris isn’t the only one to be shading Tanya over her Casa Amor decisions though.
Fans shared their reactions to last night on social media.
One wrote, “Shaq seeing Tanya and Martin’s Casa Amor highlights on movie night#LoveIsland” with a video of a man punching a TV with his hands.
Another said, “Tanya was saying I love you a week ago to now saying “Martin and TT”….#loveisland” with a video of a woman turning around and giving a surprised, questioning look.
