Love Island 2023 star Tanyel Revan had quite the rollercoaster ride before she was brutally dumped from the villa last week.

She coupled up with Kai Fagan on day one and things seemed to be going well until he expressed an interest in bombshell Samie Elishi. She then spent the rest of her time in a friendship couple with Ron Hall after potential love interest Spencer Wilks was sent packing.

But despite insisting they were just friends, viewers couldn’t help but wonder if Tanyel secretly had feelings for Ron – especially after he asked to spoon in bed. But, after returning to the UK, Tanyel’s revealed what really happened between the sheets with Ron and it’s not what you might expect.

Chatting to our Harriet Rose on the latest episode of heat Dates, Tanyel explained, “It looked really bad when I came out and saw what was being shown, but we went under the covers just because no one could hear us so we could gossip about anyone and everyone – and the things on the outside world that we didn’t want to get aired.

“They probably used that to make it look like we were snogging or something. He’d always say to me, ‘No Tan, you always get in trouble. Stop doing it,’ but I’d be like, ‘Please, I need to tell you something!’

“Whenever I’d fight with Kai, I’d be like, ‘He’s pissed me off, get under!’ and he’d be like, ‘No Tan, I really have to go to sleep,’ and I’d be like, ‘No, I really need to tell you something.’ I would never let Ron sleep until we’ve had a little bit of gossip.”

After leaving the villa, Tanya admitted she’s rooting for Ron and Lana Jenkins to win the show.

She said, “I’m so happy they’re together. I feel like they’re the strongest couple and they have the most genuine feelings for each other. I hope he won't let me down! I said to him when I was leaving, ‘If you let me down, that’s our friendship done.’”

Speaking about the romance rumours, she added, “I’m glad I coupled up with him the first time around because if I hadn’t done that I wouldn’t have realised how good a friendship we could have. What made me realise it was just a friendship between us was as soon as we coupled up, we couldn’t flirt. It’s like the flirting went out the window.

“I didn’t expect to get on with him that well. He’s my best friend. When I get married one day, I want him to be there with Lana! Genuinely, I think he’ll be my friend for life.”
