Anyone and everyone can suffer from mental health problems, but sadly boys are less likely to reach out when they're struggling with their emotions. That's one of the contributing factors to why suicide is the leading cause of death in men under 50.
Entrepreneur Kyle Stanger is also vocal about his own mental health battle and after two people close to him took their own lives, he decided to start a fashion brand that would encourage men to talk about their feelings. Because yes, boys get sad too.
From what was originally a four-word scribble in Kyle's notebook during a therapy session, Boys Get Sad Too has rapidly grown into a successful clothing brand that has even been endorsed by London mayor Sadiq Khan.
The brand stock cosy AF unisex hoodies, sweatshirts, and T-shirts. all with their signature branding and proudly donate 10% of all profits to mental health charity CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably).
With sizes ranging from XS to 5XL and all the colours, there is truly a fit for everyone.
So wear yours proudly and encourage your family and friends to open up about how they're really feeling. You could just save someone's life.
