If you, like us, have a massive sweet tooth, then you'll be no stranger to Ben and Jerry's.

It's the brand that has comforted us on many an emotional evening (thanks for those, hormones...), the one that has us rushing to the supermarket whenever we hear that the Cookie Dough flavour is half price and, tbh, everything they release tastes delicious.

From Phish Food to Baked Alaska, Ben and Jerry's are the kings of the ice cream world and now, when we thought they couldn't do any better, they've only gone and released their first ice cream on a stick.

The 'Peace Pop', as they're calling it, is comprised of the classic B & J fairtrade vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips and, wait for it...a cookie dough centre.

Drools

To top it all off, the whole thing is dipped in a mouth-watering chocolatey coating.

We doubt you'll need much convincing to buy these bad boys after that tastebud-tingling description (if I do say so myself) but, Peace Pops will be available in Co-op stores from mid-January. They'll be retailing at £2.20 for one or £4 for a multipack (subject to retailer discretion) and, let's be honest, we're all going to be buying the multipack, aren't we.

Maybe we'll even buy multi multipacks...

If you're utterly flabbergasted by the amazingness of the Peace Pop (you're not alone), then here's a couple more titbits for you.

The Peace Pops originated back in 1988 when the company's founders were campaigning for peace initiatives in the US. Now, the bitesize ice cream's thought provoking name refers to its Fairtrade certified ingredients.

"[They] champion economic justice, to partnerships & advocacy that seek to educate & mobilise citizens to drive systemic change around the world," according to B & J.

Pretty cool, right?

We guess they're slogan, "Peace, Love and Cookie Dough," is more than just a cute string of words. Who knew?
