Nando’s launches limited-edition spice for summer 2020 and it’s GOOD

Ooh, cheeky

Nando's

It felt like a lifetime that Nando’s was off the menu thanks to UK lockdown, but since our favourite high-street chicken shop has reappeared on Deliveroo, you can bet we’ve been making up for lost time.

We’ve revisited all the PERi-ometer from Lemon and Herb to Xtra Hot (and even the formidable Xtra Xtra hot – you know, the one in the BLACK BOTTLE), but now we’re overjoyed because there’s a new limited edition summer sauce to get stuck into.

The Coconut and Lemon flavouring sits alongside Mango and Lime at the mild point on the spectrum, but delivers a distinctly summery hit thanks to the creamy coconut which instantly makes us think of sipping pina coladas on a beach somewhere.

Alongside operating as a takeaway with a limited menu available to order on Deliveroo, Nando’s has also recently opened some of it’s restaurants to eat in at, with social distancing measures in place.

“We are pleased to announce that we will be reopening 10 restaurants for eat-in service from the July 8,” a spokesperson said earlier this month.
