Emma is a Style Writer at Bauer Media UK and specialises in all things fashion and beauty. Whilst black-on-black clothing and dark smoky-eye make-up is her go-to aesthetic, her music taste leaves many confused. “Alexa, play Taylor Swift’s greatest hits”.
After studying Fashion Buying and Design, Emma started out as an e-commerce fashion stylist, before heading to London, where some of her career highlights include dressing models at Fashion Week, styling talent on the set of music videos and being part of the wardrobe team on the last-ever season of X-Factor. Prior to joining Bauer, Emma held positions at OK! Mag, New! Mag, The Mirror and The Express where she developed her skills as a writer.
Although she sounds like a fashion-girly at heart, hair and make-up was her first love, having spent years perfecting her contour technique, mastering the mermaid-wave and learning how to fake a fuller brow. When she's not testing out new beauty products, she's usually binge-watching the Harry Potter films. Psst! She knows every word!
