EXCLUSIVE: have dumped Islanders Amber and Ikenna re-coupled…with each other?

Bring on the reunion, to be honest

Amberv and Ikenna on heat's Under the Duvet show

Forget hot off the press, this is RAW off the press and, to be honest, we're so excited we've rewritten this sentence three of four times now.

In a new episode of heat's Under the Duvet, Chris Taylor and Harriet Rose quizzed recently dumped Islanders Amber Beckford and Ikenna Ekwonna (who we can reveal are both MAD 10s in real life)...together. Perhaps the perceptive amongst you can sense where we're going with this...

Instant chemistry between the pair was visible from the get go in this week's steamy ep (which also featured Chris doing his best Charlie Radnedge-inspired reveal and strip tease). Naturally – and we're bloodhounds for this kind of stuff – we got sniffing.

The saucy chat ignited when the pair chatted about Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, who pretty much got together before Amber and Ikenna's plane had even left the airport. Seriously how early '00s rom-com is this getting? Sandra Bullock could never.

Regarding her former partner's blossoming relationship with Indiyah, Amber told us, "Dami could've told me, for sure".

She added, "Would I have loved it if she had given me a heads up? One hundred percent".

She finished by saying, "It is what it is" because that is the actual Love Island law.

Ikenna added, "Every time I did speak to Dami, he was like, 'Me and Indiyah are just friends'. Just giving each other relationship advice and stuff." Awks.

Anyone else suddenly thinking about that Christmas film, The Holiday?

Real tea...

We couldn't help but notice Ikenna helping Amber with her hair (which looked incredible, btw) in between takes and endless giggly whisperings (that we're hoping our mics picked up) while the pair were together in the heat studio. We even heard Amber joking that if the pair were to ever date, Ikenna had "best move down to London", as he currently lives in Nottingham. She was clearly joking, but you know how the saying goes - behind every joke. *ha ha you're fit ha ha*

Our alpha bloodhounds Chris and Harriett quickly picked up on this chemistry and got to quizzing the pair on one another. To be honest, we can't even give you a key example because the flirty remarks were simply out of control; you best just watch the ep for yourself when it drops and judge this new duo for yourself.

Saying that, there were a few key takeaways that raised more than one eyebrow in the studio (seriously, even the guy that fetched the iced matcha green tea lattes looked gooped and gagged). When we joked about the pair kissing for the cameras (what are we like?), Ikenna, responded, "I think we'll save that for later".

When asked whether there was anyone else he had a "link" with in the villa (aka WHO DO YOU FANCY?), Ikenna admitted, "Probably obviously Amber".

Honestly, everyone was feeling the vibes. EVERYONE.

But wait. There's more.

In a separate interview for Closer's Love Island Secrets – by which point we'd had quite enough of this pair's flirty side-stepping, we flat out asked them, "How would you have felt if the public had coupled you guys up together on day one?"

Great journalism, Us. Thanks, Us.

Amber replied, saying (and maybe blushing, too, but we couldn't tell because her makeup was LITERALLY flawless), "Well, every day I ask him for piggybacks off him anyway, so I'd just ask for some more".

Is this Love Island lingo again? Have we ditched the beauty salon imagery for childhood games?

Don't take our word for it, behold the sexual chemistry for yourself - have a wipe handy though (MIND. GUTTER.), cause this ep might steam up your screen.
