You'd be forgiven if it's been a while since you’ve thought about Love Island’s Connagh Howard, but the 2020 Islander has shared some exciting news.
Four years after they first started dating, Connagh and his fiancée Beth are expecting their first child together after two years of struggling to conceive and going through IVF.
The pair made the pregnancy announcement on Instagram as they shared a video of their journey to have a baby and opened up about the struggle.
“Every injection, every tear, every procedure, every pain; every last inch of this journey has been worth it for you, and I’d do it 100 times over if I had to, we already love you so much,” Beth wrote.
“Our baby decided the time was right and we are over the moon to finally announce we are PREGNANT.”
The caption continued, “*I know that not everyone’s journey looks like ours, and announcements like this are hard to see, I’ve been there and I see you. To those still waiting for their miracle, I send you all my love and hope. Don’t give up.”
The couple’s celeb pals rushed to congratulate them in the comments section, with Paige Turley writing, “Awwww so happy for you guys. Congratulations.”
Molly Smith added, “The best news,” while her ex, Callum Jones, commented, “Congratulations to you both.”
Connagh shot to fame on Love Island 2020, the first ever winter series, when he entered the villa in Cape Town and caught the eye of Sophie Piper. She later recoupled with Connor Durman, meaning ‘Connagh with a g’ was dumped.
It all worked out in the end though as he’s found his happy ending with Beth, who is known for appearing on Channel 4’s The Circle.
Connagh and Beth were first linked in March 2020 and went Instagram official a few months later. Fast forward to December 2023 and Connagh popped the question in Central Park during a romantic getaway to New York.
We absolutely love to see it.
