Love Island bombshell Lucinda Strafford caused quite the stir when she strutted in the villa alongside fellow newbie Millie Court and turned the head of almost every boy last week and, after going on dates with Aaron Francis, Hugo Hammond and Brad McLelland, it’s Brad who she appears to have the strongest connection with.
Lucinda and Brad seem set to couple up at the next recoupling after he told her he would “definitely” choose her, but it turns out that the online fashion boutique owner has a secret connection to another Islander.
In a previously unaired clip that was shown on Unseen Bits over the weekend, Lucinda revealed that she’d matched with Chuggs Wallis on a dating app before entering the villa.
The new arrivals could be seen chatting to the other contestants when Millie asked, “Wait… so Chuggs has gone home?”
Lucinda then revealed, “You know what, I actually matched with Chuggs on a dating app and I remember talking to him about bucket hats.
“And then this guy comes in and he’s like, ‘Hi, my name is Chuggs and I own a bucket hat company.’ I was like, ‘I’ve literally had this conversation with you!’”

Millie then joked, “Did you buy one [a bucket hat]?”, to which Lucinda replied, “No!”
But it sounds like Lucinda could still get her hat on one of Chuggs’ coveted Booby Buckets as following his exit from the villa, he promised, “I’ll definitely be sending [Iain Stirling] one and the Islanders. They’ve been requesting their specific types. Toby designed one out of thin air!”

Chuggs became the second Islander to be dumped from the villa when Rachel Finni chose to couple up with Brad McLelland.
Speaking about being dumped, he said, “I wasn’t surprised to be in the bottom two. I didn’t really have a thing with anyone in there.
“When I was stood at the fire pit, I thought, if [Rachel] does pick me, I can see us getting on really well. I was envisioning all these nice things I would have done for her the next day, relax a bit together and chat. We could have developed our relationship whether romantically or as a friendship – it was just early days.”
The entrepreneur also teased a return to the villa as he added, “I’d go back after more bombshells have gone in. Casa Amor would be the perfect time to go back in.”
