Love Island stars Luke Mabbott and Lucie Donlan’s relationship keeps going from strength to strength after they recoupled outside the villa and now they’ve taken another major step by adopting a new addition.
After teasing plans to start a brood of their own last year, Luke and Lucie have revealed they’re the proud new parents of an adorable rescue dog they named Bunny.
Much like their fellow Islander Olivia Attwood, who also recently adopted a pet pooch with her fiancé Bradley Dack, the couple worked with charity The Pack Project to rescue Bunny from Romania, where she was found abandoned underneath a car.
Taking to Instagram to share their first family photo, Luke wrote, “Meet mine and Lucie’s rescue puppy BUNNY 🐰🐶 the name Bunny is because she was took in and rescued on Easter 🐣 Bunny is a 6 month old cross between a Labrador x Romanian shepherd.”
He continued, “She’s the most gentle, caring loving rescue I’ve ever seen, it was our first night with her last night and she was amazing, proud dad moment! 🤪 Giving her a new life is the most amazing feeling ever! She was found under a car from living on the streets for 5 month of her life until she was found by the @thepackprojectuk 💙
“Bunny has lived half her life with no love, no home and no family. @thepackprojectuk have been amazing through everything and have helped so much! Can’t thank them enough for giving us my dream dog and also a best friend for life.”

They (not the public) branded themselves as 'Juicy' but when Joe Garrett was booted from the villaviewers were shocked that Lucie Donlan didn't follow him. Instead she coupled up with George in Casa Amor and then dumped him before being kicked out the villa alongside him. Weeks after the Love Island 2019 final and Lucie and Joe confirmed on Instagram that 'Juicy' was back together.

Arabella Chi was mugged off by Danny Williams who appeared to be devastated when she left the villa but he quickly bounced back with Jourdan Riane. Luckily the model got over him with Love Island 2018 finalist Wes Nelson and she was recently slated for 'PhotoShopping' a photo alongside her new man.

If you cast your mind back to Love Island 2015 you'll remember when Jon Clark famously proposed to Hannah Elizabeth. It didn't last (bless them) and he went on to star on TOWIE. Fast forward a couple of years and he dated Chloe Crowhurst but after the Love Island 2017 line-up was announced he publicly slammed her and revealed they were dating. After she left the villa they briefly reunited before calling it quits.

Love Island fans were devastated when Niall Aslam left the villa after eight days but a few weeks later there was a lot of speculation that he was dating Rosie Williams.

Charlie Frederick didn't get the best of chances in the Love Island 2018 villa; he was partnered with the iconic Hayley Hughes but they were quickly dumped. When the 2019 series started Charlie slammed Lucie and said she's "most definitely not looking for love". Lucie didn't take it lightly and clapped back at him.

Charlie also got with Arabella before she entered the villa. He actually claimed that the model was a 'liar' and hinted they were still dating even when she went into the villa. After being booted from Love Islandshe branded him an 'idiot' and said they had blocked each other before she went on the reality show.

We really thought Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel were going to last but alas they didn't. A few months after announcing their split Kaz announced on Instagram that she moved on with 2017 legend Theo Campbell. They since shared cute snaps on social media.

So Jess and Dom were happily coupled up in the villa but when the boys voted for her to leave they were both left devastated… Dom wasn't that upset though because he didn't follow her. Then there were reports that something went down with Mike Thalassitis but after Dom left Love Island he reunited with Jess, the pair got married and are set to welcome their baby into the world this year.

Love Island and Geordie Shore fans were stunned when Chloe Ferry claimed that her ex-boyfriend Sam cheated on her with Amber. Dramz. Sam and Amber have both denied the accusations but Chloe has insisted they're true.

Following the whole Amber/Sam allegations, Megan wrote: "Imagine moving like that and lying to numerous heartbroken girls that you ain't sh-gged their ex!"Amber denied the rumours in an emotional tweet.

Romance blossomed for the couple in summer 2020 and they 'confirmed' their relationship status when they shared the same photo (of a hot tub) to Instagram. As is the modern way.
Lucie also shared a snap of her own and added, “Rescuing a dog means so much more to me and Luke, and it’s something we’ve both wanted to do for a very long time. Giving this lovely little girl a new life means the world to us. We will make sure she has the life she deserves 🌏.
“We’ve rescued her from Romania because we read into what The Pack Project do for so many dogs, and the thought of rescuing Bunny also frees up another spot in the shelter charity for a dog to then also go onto a good home makes our heart full with joy the thought of saving two dogs.
“Bunny is the most perfect dog we could ever ask for, so kind natured and loving 🐶.”

Adopting a dog together is the latest big step in Luke and Lucie’s relationship after the Justin Bieber lookalike revealed a huge tattoo tribute to his girlfriend after almost a year of dating.
Luke’s certainly no stranger to an inking or two and has expanded his collection to celebrate his relationship with Lucie, with the clearly delighted surfer showing off the tattoo on her Instagram story as she explained the meaning behind the sweet gesture.
Alongside a photo of the new ink, she wrote, “Luke got two nurse sharks representing us 😍 because we swam with them in the Maldives… he’s the cutest 🥺.”
