As Brits, it's not uncommon for us to go hard or go home when it comes to summer – especially when it comes to our summer 'fits; let's be real, we live in a country where the sky is grey for eight months out of the year and our winter wardrobe is in use for about the same amount of time, annually - so yeah, when we see even a ray of sunshine, it's time to slay.
Our celeb friends – especially those trendy Love Island stars – know this all too well, too; summer 'fits and makeovers are stock and trade at this time of year and here at heatworld, we do our best to keep up with each and every summer slay.
Cue Love Island 2021's Chloe Burrows hard launching a new summer fringe on Instagram...
Side note - we saw Girls Aloud at the O2 twice last week, so we're really into big, voluminous, long hair that can serve up some serious and unstoppable choreography at the moment, and our Chloe is giving a little bit of all the girls with her new fringe and those lengthy waves.
Taking to Instagram to hard launch her new fringe, Chloe revealed that this new look actually came from her trying to cut her own hair (Cheryl would never, hun).
She told her followers, "All I can say is thank god for @hadleyyatessalon 😭. Bought a clip-in fringe and CUT MY OWN HAIR OFF 😀 so thank you Hadley for giving me a cute fringe for summer x life saver x."
We have to say, more and more of our Love Island girlies are turning to the fringe for summer and it's starting to seriously, well, influence us (they are good at their jobs, aren't they?).
Fellow Love Island queen Georgia Harrison is another Islander to roadtest a fringe and looked incredible during a recent outing at Soccer Aid.
The Love Island All Star let fans know that her fringe is actually a clip-in and is a steal from Amazon. Georgia, babes, you're speaking our language.
Naturally, Chloe's Love Island co-stars were quick to praise her fire new lewk.
Tasha Ghouri (who we're suddenly realising Chloe now looks a bit like Tash thanks to the new fringe), commented, "I’m obsessed !!! Has to stay 😍," while Samira Mighty wrote, "Oooooo la la 🔥."
Oh, and we know what you're thinking; does this supreme summer makeover have anything to do with a possible villa return this summer (always a giveaway)? You know, the thing we've been manifesting ever since Adam Collard returned to the villa in 2022 and we all realised that this was the road the Love Island big dogs were going down henceforth.
Sadly, we think not; the clock is ticking on Love Island 2024, so if Chloe were returning this series, we think producers would've put those wheels in motion already.
However, Chloe did recently open up about All Stars, admitting that she has been asked to do it in the past. She revealed, "I was asked to do it. It was just, wasn't my timing."
Speaking about whether she'd consider joining the cast of next year's All Stars (which has been confirmed, btw), she told The Sun, "Would I do it again? Never say never, but I’m 28 now."
Babe, Joey Essex is 34 this month and is still acting like an 18 year old. Get yourself in there and bring that fire fringe with you.
