Love Island Casa Amor bombshell Diamanté Laiva's (the bombshell who grew close to Sean Stone and iconically squared off with Matilda Draper at the fire pit at the Casa recoupling) journey lasted just three days, and having met her IRL we can tell you all, each and every one of us was robbed of a blossoming Love Island icon.
Let us tell you, here at heatworld we have interviewed a fair few Love Island stars in our time, but Diamanté is easily one of the most outspoken and honest to date, and as such we are devod her Love Island 2024 journey was cut short at the hands of, well, let's be honest, Sean. Although maybe Joey, too, it seems.
Diamanté and fellow Casa girl Ruby Dale paid us a visit at our studio in London earlier this week and in addition to spilling the tea on the Candyman himself, Diamanté took the opportunity to share some unfiltered/unedited thoughts on one of her fellow Casa girls – and OOFT.
When Diamanté and Ruby were asked who they thought would go on to win the show, Diamanté said that while she thought Jess Spencer and Ayo Odukoya had a chance at the £50,000, she's not happy with the way Jess has been playing the "girl's girl" in the villa (and these are Diamanté's words, not ours) while rubbing Ayo in Mimii Ngulube's face (perhaps literally from her choice of words).
Diamanté exclusively told heatworld, "Jess and Ayo do have a connection, so I do see them winning in that aspect. However, I don't agree with Jess playing girl's girl [with the villa girls], but at the same time parading this relationship with Ayo in front of Mimii's face. You can't go to Mimii and be like, 'Are you okay? Are you okay?' And then literally in front of Mimii's face [start kissing him]...legs up."
She continued, "If someone takes your man right now, and they're literally on the floor, basically shagging him... I understand they have a connection and they like each other, but in front of Mimii, tone it down a bit, if you want to be her friend."
If you watch the TikTok video (below) you'll see Ruby's eyes widen and widen at this comment – that was pretty much our reaction behind the camera, too.
Bear in mind this interview took place a couple of days ago and things move FAST AF in the Love Island villa; so fast in fact that in the last two days bombshell Josh Oyinsan has entered the villa and swept Mimii off her feet, however, Mimii and Ayo are now playing a cheeky game of 'relight my fire'; something that has not gone unnoticed by Jess.
Anyway, Diamanté... All Stars, babes?
