It's a word that caused some major controversy in the Love Island: All Stars villa and it looks as though 'clout' will continue to haunt all the returning contestants.
Ironically, it was Casey O'Gorman - and by default his partner Gabby Allen - who were originally labelled 'clout chasers' by their fellow All Stars, mainly because the winter Love Island 2023 bombshell was taking part in the show for a third time.
The irony lies in the fact that Casey and Gabby went on to win the show, beating fan favorites Luca Bish and Grace Jackson who were declared runner-ups after Grace's screenshot scandal.
But now Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who came in third place alongside Curtis Pritchard, has been spilling some major tea in a new podcast interview. The Love Island 2022 winner shaded countless Islanders as she revealed who she believes took part in the dating show 'for clout'.
Chatting to Francesca Mariano and Maria Ciuffo, who present Chicks in the Office, Ekin-Su opened up about taking part in the romance reality TV show more than once.
'I love being on TV,' Ekin admitted, even though we're not sure that's a secret to anyone. 'I also like acting, so, yeah, I know it's a TV show.'
She went on, 'I signed up for it and I also know everyone on the show is there for clout.'
Take THAT All Stars, Ekin-Su has spoken and, as always, her words are brutally honest with just a sprinkle of drama.
She continued, 'I don't care what anyone says. They always say, "I'm there for love," well, darling, it's All Stars. We've done it before.'
To be fair to Ekin, who is still loved up with King Julien from Madagascar aka dancing Islander Curtis, she included herself in the shady remarks.
'Third time, fourth time, second time, we're here,' she confessed. 'I'm just real.'
