Here at heatworld, we’ve had a soft spot for Love Island legend turned Celebrity Big Brother star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu from the moment she opted to get on her hands and knees on the Love Island terrace and CRAWL to get a piece of Scottish bombshell Jay Younger.
In that moment Ekin-Su was each and every one of us and she's been a part of us ever since.
Since leaving the Love Island 2022 villa , Ekin-Su has gone on to star in countless reality shows in and outside of the UK, strike some seriously lucrative beauty and fashion brand deals and, of course, star on the 2024 reboot of Celebrity Big Brother alongside the likes of Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Marisha Wallace.
Oh, and obv she dated Davide Sanclimenti in real life, but even we’re leaving that one in the past now.
While Ekin-Su hoped that a CBB stint would help the public see a different side to the Love Island queen, things didn’t exactly work out in her favour. From a controversial OnlyFans row to a fiery throwdown with her housemate bestie Marisha, Ekin’s star somewhat dimmed in the Big Brother house, resulting in her skipping the finale and taking a break from the public eye.
To say we’ve missed her is an understatement. But luckily for us diehard Ekin-Su fans, the queen appears to have remerged and has even teased a new job - well, technically, an old job if you know Ekin’s CV like we do.
The Love Island bombshell took to her somewhat dusty Instagram story to tease her latest venture with fans - and it involves a script.
Ekin-Su appears to be learning lines for a character called Terri which officially means the ‘actress’ in ‘You are a liar, actress! Go the f*ck out!' is back, BABY.
Prior to finding global fame on Love Island, Ekin-Su was an actor on a Turkish soap opera called Kuzey Yıldızı İlk Aşk in 2020 - where she played a serial killer called Isil. Slay (literally).
Those who watched Celebrity Big Brother might recall Ekin-Su iconically reenacting her character’s dramatic af death scene in the BB kitchen. We’re so ready to see these chops on our screens again…

Icon of icons Ekin-Su entered the Love Island 2022 villa on day three as a bombshell. She coupled up with Davide on day five, but had her head turned by Jay a few days later and coupled up with him on day 12.
She then found her way back to Davide once again (despite a George Tasker sized spanner in Casa Amor) and the pair made it to the final and remained together until their split in January 2024.
