It’s somehow been a whole year since Love Island 2022 came to an end as Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu took home the £50k grand prize (and the rest of the winners’ pack).
It’s was a whirlwind of a year for Davide and Ekin-Su, with the pair going on to film their own reality show Homecomings, sign huge fashion and beauty deals, and move in together.
And although the Love Island winners announced their split this June, they're now back together.

At 28 years old, Davide is one of the oldest 2022 Islanders. He was born on 1 January 1995, making him a Capricorn.
What was Davide's job before Love Island?
Davide owned his own business before entering Love Island. Since winning the show, he's been inundated with opportunities and filmed his own TV show with Ekin-Su, as well as launching a clothing collection with BoohooMAN.
Where is Davide Sanclimenti from?
Davide is originally from Rome, Italy but currently lives in Manchester.
Before entering the villa, he said, "I’m going to be the Italian stallion in the villa! With my Italian charm, I can also be a very romantic guy. I’m good looking and I’ve realised since I first arrived in Manchester, a lot of English girls actually love me. They love to be around me and I love to be around them."
Which Islanders is Davide friends with?
Chatting exclusively to heat at the launch of his BoohooMAN collection last year, Davide revealed he's still friends with Jay Younger, Charlie Radnedge, Dami Hope, Luca Bish and Andrew Le Page.
He told us, “In the villa, I was friends with Jay, Charlie, and Dami. Those three the most.
“Also, Luca and Andrew are my good friends - but those three the most.”
There are, however, two Islanders that Davide admitted he’s “not really bothered” about and won’t be staying in contact with.
He added, “I don’t speak with Mollie [Salmon] and I don’t speak with George [Tasker].
“We lived in the villa with Mollie three days together and, George, I didn’t even know his name before leaving the villa. So yeah, I’m not really bothered about them.”
When did Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su split?
Davide announced he’d split from Ekin-Su on Instagram at the end of June. He wrote, “Ekin-Su and I are no longer together.
"I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best. I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in any way possible."
Why did Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su split?
Although Ekin-Su didn’t post a statement of her own, Davide later claimed she was supposed to as he shed some light on the reasons behind their breakup. He said, “Posing publicly about the breakup was extremely difficult yet necessary, despite the urge to keep it private... I didn't blindside her as she was fully aware about my intention to post, and at first she agreed to post at the same time. She did change her mind [at the] last minute though.
“Since the relationship has been on the rocks for months and parting ways has been a long time coming, I ultimately decided to go ahead with it rather than keeping on dragging a situation [out] that became unhealthy for both of us.”
Davide added, “The constant creation of fake narratives on a person who was nothing but a genuine, caring and loving boyfriend for her and all he wanted was to enjoy and nurture the beautiful relationship they had. And instead we had to deal with ridiculous accusations and fake stories.
"This over time had a massive impact on my mental health and our relationship... I felt I had to say something to give voice to the majority of people that know I'm now what some twisted and nasty individuals have been trying to portray me for months."
Are Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su back together?
They sure are.
In August - two months after announcing they'd split - Davide confirmed the news on Instagram during a holiday in Turkey.
On Instagram he wrote, "Despite all the storms, I wanted to make this day special for you... Enjoy the moment, make a wish and blow hard. Happy birthday @ekinsuofficial."

Davide has been spotted at the Barbie premiere with Margot Robbie.
He's also been visiting his family in Italy and appears to be spending a lot of time in the gym as he's looking RIPPED lately.
