Incoming spoiler from last night's (24 July) episode of Love Island, guys, in fact, this whole article centres around the event, you have been warned.

At the end of the always chaotic 'Couple of Sorts' game it was revealed that the viewers had been voting and Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins were dubbed 'least likely to work on the outside' and ultimately dumped from the Love Island 2024 villa. Savage AF.

Side note: do we all remember how hilarious Sophie Piper and Joshua Ritchie were during this challenge on All Stars? What a time to be a Love Island fan.

Anyway, we digress. Now that she is out of the Spanish villa, Grace has been able to open up abut what the hell went down between her and Joey Essex and the real reason he could not keep her name out of his mouth.

"I went in and coupled up with Joey which was a past relationship that I’d had."

Grace revealed, "I never knew which way it was going to go between us. As soon as I entered  the villa it was apparent that there were still feelings there."

Joey was originally in a couple with OG Islander Samantha Kenny but the rival of Grace left him shooketh. However, it was a short-lived romance between the former flames as when bombshell Jessy Potts rocked up, Joeys' head spun and he ditched Grace for a different blonde.

Despite this, the two girlies managed to move past the drama and form a strong bond which apparently went down like a led balloon with the TOWIE star.

"Jessy was also my right hand woman which was crazy, she was always by my side and I adored her," Grace explained.

"I think that’s why Joey had a problem with me as he couldn’t get his head around the fact that I was best friends with his girl," she explained.

It must be hella strange to see your ex and new bae become besties but that's better than them fighting 24/7, right?
