Itâs not a great time to be a Love Island couple, is it? Weâre starting to lose track of the Love Island 2024 couples who have called it quits recently, with the likes of Matilda Draper and Sean Stone and Jessy Potts and Joey Essex going their separate ways since leaving the villa.
Even winners Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan arenât together anymore, and now, another pair of finalists have revealed theyâve split after only a few months.
Jess Spencer has just confirmed that she and Ayo Odukouya are no longer an item after they sparked speculation that theyâd broken up after appearing to wipe all but a few traces of their relationship from their social media accounts.
The Casa Amor bombshell, who worked as a stylist before entering the villa, took to TikTok over the weekend to show off one of her outfits, but things took a turn in the comments section when her followers began asking about her relationship with Ayo.
And when one social media user randomly commented, âGirl he needs to ask you yesterday,â Jess clapped back, ââGirlâ says who?? The internet??
âHe doesnât need to ask me anything because weâre not together. Let it go.â
Jess has put the rumours to bed once and for all just days after she was forced to speak out amid claims she âcheatedâ on Ayo.
When one of her Snapchat followers told her, âCheater you donât deserve Ayo,â Jess replied, âThese apps are full of absolute idiots.
âWhere do you get your information from?'
Blimey, this is almost as dramatic as Jess and Ayoâs time in the villa.
Viewers will know that Ayoâs head did a complete 180 when Jess arrived as a Casa Amor bombshell and they eventually coupled up, leaving Mimii single.
However, some Islanders (Joey and Sean, weâre looking at you) werenât convinced that Ayo and Mimii were completely over each other and the situation wasnât exactly helped by the whole âsecret missionâ debacle.
Still, Ayo and Jess finished in fourth place, with Mimii and Josh going on to win the show and both couples lasted a couple of months in the outside world.
