As far as we're concerned, there are two types of guy; those that can pull off barely-buttoned-up shirts and those who can't pull off barely-buttoned-up shirts. And, you know what? It's got f*ck all to do with body type (all bods are beautiful), it's all do with your chat, your swag, and ensuring you are wearing the shirt and the shirt is not wearing you.
FYI, Love Island's Joe Garratt can pull it off. Also, FYI, celebs like Made in Chelsea's Sam Prince can't. No shade, we have a soft spot for Sam, it's just all about the vibe – and Joe has the vibe.
We can say that with certainty, too, as not only have we watched him has flowy shirts on two series of Love Island now (Love Island 2019 and Love Island: All Stars), but we've had him in the office a handful of times for interviews now, so have swooned first-hand. Oh, and in case you were wondering – PHWOAR.
Joe has always been a ten out of ten in our books (the looks, the hair, the chat, the vibe, and the respect is all there), but somehow the Islander has decided that a 10/10 is just not good enough, as he appears to have undergone a mind-blowing body transformation following All Stars this year – because the bod is seriously bodding in June 2024.
Taking to his Instagram story earlier this week, Joe posted a risqué shirtless snap (we assume the flowy shirt was just on the floor) showing off a seriously chiseled physique.
Frankly, we don't know where to look. Actually, let's rephrase that - we don't know where to look first.
Perhaps this new physique was just too much for that final button holding his flowy shirt together. We're not angry about that, obviously.
The Islander has clearly been putting in some serious gym time since leaving the South African villa in February, and the results speak for themselves. For the record though, Joe, we fancied you on All Stars and we fancied you in 2019 – and that had nothing to do with you being easy on the eye 😘
Prior to taking part in Love Island, Joe was a catering company owner and was fondly referred to as 'Sandwich Man.' However, nowadays he's an influencer and model and has taken part in several other reality TV shows.
He first appeared on Love Island back in 2019 and was an OG Islander. He lasted for 16 days but was dumped when the public chose to dump him over Lucie Donlan, who he was in a couple with at the time.
However once just wasn't enough for Joe, and he was one of the familiar faces who came back for round two on Love Island All Stars.
