Renowned for his womanising, many may have scoffed at the prospect of reality TV bad boy Adam Collard ever settling down.
But after a string of failed romances on and off screen, the two-time Love Island star swapped his lothario ways last year for a serious romance with sports presenter Laura Woods.
The couple – who went Instagram official in October following reports of “secret dates” – turned comments off for the announcement, but wrote “Hey baby” alongside a snap of Laura’s pet Frenchie and a sonogram image.
Fitness guru Adam, 28, and Laura, 37, have documented glimpses of their whirlwind relationship on social media. As well as sun-drenched breaks and cosy dates, the broadcaster also branded Adam her “hero” in May, praising him for acting “so quickly” following an accident at a holiday cottage, which saw a glass lampshade shatter and cut her face and arms.
Adam also teased in an interview that Laura – who dated rugby player Alex Corbisiero for eight years – is The One, revealing how their relationship first blossomed.
He said, “The first time we met – I’ll hold my hands up – I did DM her first and got a reply, but then nothing ever happened. Then she called [me] out for basically leaving her on read. Eventually, we met up, and then went on a very undercover date.”
Now Adam is about to become a dad, the next chapter will be a far cry from his colourful past. He first shot to fame in 2018 as a Love Island bombshell, immediately landing headfirst in a triangle with Rosie Williams and Zara McDermott – reportedly ending his relationship with the latter by text seven months after leaving the villa.
He then made Love Island history four years later by becoming the first contestant to enter the villa in two separate series.
He coupled up with Paige Thorne, but their relationship was plagued by cheating claims once they left the show.
Then, after a brief dalliance with Lottie Moss off the back of Celebs Go Dating, along came Laura, who, let’s face it, has done a remarkable job of taming him.
