We witnessed a moment of true friendship on Love Island last night when Aaron Francis chose to recouple with Kaz Kamwi over Sharon Gaffka to give her a shot at finding love in the villa after Toby Aromolaran chose to explore his feelings for Chloe Burrows.
In his speech, Aaron said, “She’s one of the girls I’m closest to in the villa, I love the energy she brings to the villa, it’s unmatched and we’re always joking around with each other.
"She’s had a hard time in the villa so far but I’d love to give her the opportunity to meet someone that she really likes.”
Hugo Hammond then gave Sharon a lifeline by coupling up with her despite their recent drama over his comment about not liking "fake" women. He almost reduced her to tears when he called her his “day one” and that “finding love is just around the corner for them both.”

Love Island viewers erupted when Aaron and Hugo made their decision, with many admitting that they are willing to forgive Aaron after he ended things with Sharon because there was too many ‘red flags’ but continued to cuddle in bed with her.
“Low key living for Aaron and Kaz’s friendship :) #loveisland ”, wrote one viewer.
One viewer said, “Aaron picking Kaz was actually amazing tv #LoveIsland ”, and another even compared Kaz and Aaron to Ovie Soko and Amber Gill, who coupled up in a friendship couple in 2019.

The dramatic recoupling saw bombshell Rachel Finni dumped from the island after new guy Teddy Soares chose to couple up with Faye Winter, sending shockwaves through the villa on another action-packed evening.
Rachel has since hit out at Brad McClelland, who she chose to couple up with over Chuggs Wallis just 24 hours after her arrival, for being "not genuine".
Speaking in her exit interview, she said, “I was stupid enough to fall for Brad’s graft, because it wasn’t genuine.
"Chuggs would have actually made the effort to get to know me. I went for Brad because he was more physically attractive.”
