As much as we've been heavily manifesting it since we first heard the rumours, we never actually thought Luca Bish would actually sign up to Love Island: All Stars, tbh. After all, his ex Gemma Owen flat out refused the invitation from show bosses and last time we checked, Luca was actually dating someone new anyway.
Nevertheless, the stars have aligned and the Love Island 2022 OG will indeed saunter into the Love Island: All Stars villa on Monday 13 January as the series' youngest boy at just 25 years old, and the majority of Love Island fans seem happy to see his return, as do many former Islanders...
Cue Messy Mitch entering the chat like Maleficent sans an invite to the Christening.
You remember Messy Mitch, right? Real name Mitch Taylor. Love Island 2023 OG, as well as All Stars 2024 OG. Overall tornado of chaos.
We're convinced that the majority of last year's mountainous South African gales were actually just Mitch spinning around causing mayhem night after night.
If you've ever watched Mitch on the telly you'll know he LOVES to win an argument regardless of reason or rationality, and it seems he's pocketed the receipts to on online scrap with Luca from a year ago, and has just been biding his time to clap back.
Taking to his Instagram story, Mitch shared a screenshot from this time last year when he was announced as one of the first Islanders taking place in the very first All Stars. The screenshot shows a comment on the post – written by Luca – seemingly throwing shade at Mitch and the show.
Referring to Mitch's inclusion in the OG line-up, Luca wrote, 'Thought this would happen when I said no 👀.'
Ooft.
Fast forward to the here and now and Mitch has decided to share Luca's comment publicly, as well as share his own response to it, 'Damn that's crazy 😉,' clearly alluding to the fact that Luca has had a change of heart in the last 12 months.
The wink emoji makes us think this is perhaps just a little shady lad banter, but regardless, it's another example of reliable Mitch waving his MESS flag and a reminder to one and all that Mitch KEEPS HIS RECEIPTS. So perhaps refrain from throwing caution to the wind (it's probably Mitch anyway).
Of course we love to see it.
Speaking of his return to the series, Luca told producers, 'I had such a good time last time, why not? I get to have a good time with the possibility of ending up with someone.'
