Here at heat, we are watching former Love Island stars like hawks; no, not hawks, something more extreme than that – bloodhounds. Yes, we're keeping an eye on our fave Islanders' socials like digital, Gen Z bloodhounds for any telltale clues that they might have signed up for the next series of Love Island: All Stars.
By the way, if you're up for helping us, here are some of the telltale clues to keep an eye out for: Islanders awkwardly dodging the question on red carpets or during Instagram Q&As, Islanders going to the gym A LOT over the last couple of months, Islanders going quiet on social media, Islanders teasing 'something exciting' on Instagram or TikTok and/or the biggie, Isalnders ending a relationship just before the All Stars buzz really starts buzzing. All dead giveaways.
Now, of course, we're not saying Love Island 2021's Lucinda Strafford's summer split from DJ boyfriend Nathan Dawe is in any way related to All Stars, but Lucinda's newly single status and comments in a recent red carpet interview have certainly shone a spotlight on the villa icon just weeks ahead of the launch date.
And let's be honest, signing Lucinda would be a massive win for All Stars producers, so they've definitely asked her.
Lucinda and Nathan had a short-lived romance. The couple called it quits in June after going official just a few weeks before. Naturally, since then, Lucinda's name has been added to the All Stars 2 rumour mill, and last week, she was given an opportunity to shut it down, but instead chose to keep fans guessing...
Which historically means that conversations are most likely being had right now.
Speaking to The Sun, Lucinda said, 'I'm definitely open to TV. I keep seeing rumours of me going on [All Stars] but at the moment, I don’t know. I’m not thinking too deeply into it. I’m single.'
Which is enough for us.
The Love Island star continued, 'I’ve done it a couple times now and if I ever did go back on, I’d just own it.
'I think I’d probably go on with the same mentality as I did with Love Island Australia, if it happens it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t.'
She finished by saying, 'If it comes it comes and I’d be happy if it came but I’m not looking for anyone. I’m not looking for anyone. I’m not interested in male attention. If the right person comes my way, then absolutely.'
As of right now, ITV are thought to be in final negotiations with this year's cast, which means if Islanders are going on, they most likely already know by now, as All Stars returns NEXT MONTH. With that being said, it's worth stressing that no names have been officially confirmed as of yet.
Lucinda is a reality TV star and influencer who first became famous when she joined the cast of Love Island during the 2021 series. She entered the villa as a bombshell alongside eventual winner Millie Court. She was dumped on day 28 alongside Aaron Francis.
Lucinda then headed back into the villa in 2023, but this time she joined the Aussie version of the dating show and was crowned a runner-up alongside Zac Nunns on day 29.
