Following the news that Love Island’s Lucinda Strafford is reportedly dating chart-topping DJ Nathan Dawe, one of her show exes has spoken out and insisted, “The truth always comes out.”
Lucinda rose to fame on Love Island 2021 and then appeared on Love Island Australia two years later, where she met Aussie hunk Zac Nunns.
They finished the show as runners-up behind winners Kale Roberts and Tyra Johannes and went on to continue dating in the outside world before just months later amid rumours that Lucinda was headed for the All Stars villa.
It was claimed that Zac was left “heartbroken” after parting ways with Lucinda and now that she’s moved on, he couldn’t help but take a savage swipe at her on social media.
When one of his Snapchat followers sent a message referring to Lucinda’s new romance, which read, “Geez some people move on fast. Hope you’re doing okay,” Zac responded with some serious shade.
“I’m ok guys – I find it crazy how I was told to stay quiet to protect someone’s career but they’ve done nothing to protect me.”
Zac cryptically continued, “There is so much that I decided to stay quiet on but I feel like the truth always comes out.”
It seems that Zac could be ready to reveal the “truth” too as he later shared a picture of himself recording a new episode of his podcast with the caption, “We are leaving the Apology Era and re-entering our Villain Era. Strap in."
After sparking up a relationship on the fifth series of Love Island Australia, Lucinda and Zac did have plans to move in together.
He explained, “After the show wrapped up I went straight to the UK with Lucinda, then we went to Paris, Portugal and travelled around the UK together. We had the best time. Eventually I'm going to move in with Lucinda in the UK.”
However, the big move never materialised and the pair split shortly after and deleted all traces of their relationship from social media.
